ACC Treatment Provider
Pauline's special interests are Pregnancy Acupuncture, treating Musculo-skeletal concerns, orofacial/dental pain, and Acupuncture for stress. She is an avid fan of cupping, and incorporates it into her treatments where possible.
Pauline has a BHSc in Acupuncture (4yrs) and was an Acupuncture intern at the Lower Hutt Hospital Maternity Unit. Her other previous experience involves initiating a Koha clinic in partnership with Maraeroa Marae Health Clinic (Porirua). There, she provided low cost services for ACC, Wellness and Acupuncture support as part of their Alcohol and Other Drugs programme. Pauline has also worked at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture as the Academic Support liaison.
Pauline is also a member of the Acupuncture for Mental Health (AMH) group. AMH is a group of registered and qualified practitioners that publicly promotes and advocates the use of acupuncture as a safe and effective treatment modality for mental health care.
Prior to Acupuncture, Pauline studied at Otago University and had an interesting career as a Dental Therapist in New Zealand, and Outback Australia.
